I've heard it said that the ultimate acid test for a song is whether it works at a bare bones level.. strip away the synths, drums, and electric guitars and see if anything remains. Late last year I put a few songs from the debut record under that microscope in an east Nashville analog studio called Fry Pharmacy. Recorded by the uniquely gifted Eddie Spear.
